Why Use the BVT01?

Bladder management for paraplegics is a critical component of daily care. Since neither patients nor nurses can reliably estimate bladder volume based on experience, there's a risk of bladder overfilling, which can lead to deterioration of the upper urinary tract. Additionally, frequent catheterization increases the likelihood of iatrogenic urinary system infections. Frequent catheter insertions also heighten patient pain and psychological stress, increasing the risk of urinary tract damage.
